Climate & weather in October
October remains a hot and humid month in Singapore, with temperatures between 26–32 °C.
Humidity is high, and frequent showers or thunderstorms occur in the late afternoon, typical of the equatorial climate.
Rainfall is heavier than in September, as the northeast monsoon season approaches.
Fortunately, the rains are often short and give way to clear skies.

Activities to do in October
1- Visit Gardens by the Bay: a must-see with its air-conditioned conservatories (Cloud Forest, Flower Dome) and the illuminated Supertrees in the evening.
2- Discover urban culture: stroll through Chinatown, Little India, or Kampong Glam for a mix of traditional architecture, temples, and street art.
3- Explore Marina Bay: walk around Marina Bay Sands, watch the Spectra light show in the evening, or go up to the SkyPark for a panoramic view.
4- Sentosa Island: beaches, Universal Studios Singapore, SEA Aquarium; a good mix of leisure, nature, and relaxation.
5- Urban and nature hikes: the Southern Ridges Walk or MacRitchie Reservoir to admire the canopy from the suspension bridge.
6- Deepavali Festival (depending on the lunar calendar): in October, Little India is adorned with lights, decorations, and festivities for the Hindu Festival of Lights.
