Climate & weather in October
October marks the beginning of the more “bearable” period after the intense summer. Daytime temperatures reach around 35–36 °C at the start of the month, then gradually drop to 32–34 °C towards the end.
Nights are milder, often around 22–24 °C, making outings more pleasant.
The month remains very dry, with little to no significant rainfall.
High sunshine, mostly clear skies. Perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Activities to do in October
1- Stroll along the Corniche early in the morning or at the end of the day, for sunrise or sunset.
2- Explore the desert: 4×4 safaris, camel rides, dune bashing. The climate is more tolerable than in the peak of summer.
3- Visit cultural attractions such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Qasr Al Watan.
4- Take a trip into the mangrove to enjoy nature, by kayak or small boat ride.
5- Enjoy the beaches (Saadiyat, Yas Island) for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing by the water. Be cautious of the intense midday sun.
