Climate & weather in October
October marks the end of Dubai’s extreme summer: daytime temperatures often range between 30–35 °C at the beginning of the month, and around 32–30 °C later on.
Evenings and nights become more pleasant, often around 22–25 °C. A bit cooler after sunset, but still warm.
Very low rainfall; mostly clear skies.
The sea remains warm, allowing for comfortable swimming.

Activities to do in October
1- Beaches & beach clubs: Enjoy beaches such as Jumeirah Beach, Kite Beach, or the beach clubs on Palm Jumeirah. During the day, go swimming, paddleboarding, or simply relax; in the late afternoon, savor the sunset.
2- Theme parks and floral gardens: The Miracle Garden usually reopens in October with its flower beds and colors, perfect for photos and peaceful walks.
3- Desert excursions: Dubai Desert Safari, Bedouin dinner under the stars, camel rides, with milder evenings.
4- Urban attractions: Visit the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, The Walk at JBR, or Old Dubai (Al Fahidi, the souks), and enjoy the blend of modern architecture and traditions.
5- Cruises & dining on the water: Dinner cruise on a dhow, or a boat ride on the Creek or around the Marina. Pleasant evenings on the water.
6- Shopping & culture: Museums, galleries, festivals resuming their programs; air-conditioned malls, temporary exhibitions.

Practical tips
-
Dress lightly during the day, but bring an extra layer for the evenings or for air-conditioned spaces (malls, hotels).
-
Sun protection is essential: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, avoid the midday sun.
-
Stay hydrated, carry water with you.
-
Plan outdoor activities early in the morning or after 4–5 pm to avoid peak heat.
-
Book popular attractions in advance, as October is a “transition month” but is starting to get busy.
